We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Outsourced Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CAAS division within the firm, focusing on delivering exceptional services to clients and supporting the internal team. The Manager will work closely with the Director to ensure client satisfaction and profitability, manage and mentor the CAAS team, and assist with business development efforts. This position reports to the Director of CAAS and supports other divisions within the firm as needed.

Essential Functions:
  • Support the Director in maintaining a nigh-level view of all CAAS projects
  • Timely completion of assignments within budget and with desired outcomes
  • Positive team satisfaction and development
  • Enthusiasm for outsourced client accounting services
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business development opportunities
  • Prior business management and financial experience, with the ability to adapt to various client situations
  • Knowledge of specific industry verticals relevant to the firm
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate staff in a hybrid-remote work environment
  • Aptitude for managing multiple clients and transitioning between projects seamlessly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capability to meet tight deadlines and manage unexpected challenges
  • Proficiency in various technology solutions to improve team and client efficiencies, such as Sage Intacct
  • Solid project management abilities

Essential Skills:
  • Internal and external client satisfaction
  • Assist with managing relationships with top clients and business development prospects
  • Monitor Critical Success Factors (CSFs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the CAAS team
  • Collaborate with the Director to ensure profitability and high client satisfaction
  • Assist with staffing and recourse planning/management
  • Utilize technology to track ongoing client engagements
  • Support the performance review process for the CAAS team
  • Contribute to the education and development of the CAAS team
  • Foster a positive team environment with incentives and rewards for high performance
  • Help evaluate and implement new technology recommendations and strategies


Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5-7 years' accounting experience in private/public accounting working with clients in the $1-$10 million annual revenue range; experience with clients up to $50 million a plus
  • 1-2 years of experience managing staff in a hybrid-remote environment preferred
  • Experience working in a paperless environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Team player with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to adjust schedule based on peak workload times in the department
  • Advanced MS Suite skills including Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (additional knowledge in other platforms a plus)
  • A general and growing knowledge of firm products and services within CAAS, and a general knowledge of products and services in other firm practice areas
