RN - New to Cardiac (OR) Surgery - La Jolla - Bonus eligible
The EW Scripps Company, San Diego, CA
T his is a Full-time position as a Cardiac - OR RN working 12-hour shifts (starting at 0600), located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. Willing to train an OR RN new to cardiac surgery, but must already have a good foundation of general surgery experience in order to be eligible.
This position is eligible for a New Hire Bonus of $4K and $3K Relocation Assistance, as well as to participate in Scripps award winning benefits package.

With 17 OR suites, trauma, 4 open heart, 2 hybrid, 3 robotics, and 1 eye room, we conduct 40-50 surgeries per day.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications
- One year of RN experience circulating in the Operating Room
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
- Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- CVOR experience preferred
- Trauma experience
