FinancePosition Summary:Responsible for the planning and execution of daily Treasury activities, including, but not limited to, daily funds movement, investment options for excess cash, credit card programs, loan facilities, FX, and hedging activities.
In addition, work with management to project the company’s cash flow and manage associated revenue streams and expense categories.
Partner with department and company leadership to create and execute standards and go-forward strategies that will provide financial leadership and value to the organization.Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities:Identify opportunities and implement treasury-related business process improvementsDevelop and support treasury policies, procedures and controlsSupport special projects and acquisitions as assignedEnsure daily, weekly, period, and annual treasury processes are executed timely and accuratelyEnsure proper treasury services are procured, and authorities are established, with banking relationshipsEnsure daily cash positioning and funds movement is completed on all banking daysTroubleshoot daily transaction issuesPerform periodic cost review of bank fees; review and negotiate treasury contracts with banksServe as primary administrator on online banking platformsEffectively work with and support internal business partners including AR, AP, legal, tax and ITWork with internal and external auditorsManage corporate card programsDevelop, monitor and update treasury department budgetProvide development, career progression, and succession environments for direct reportsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or business-related field required, MBA a plusProfessional certification preferred, but not required (ie., CTP, CPCP, etc)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and BI Tools (Power Bi, Tableau, etc); experience with PeopleSoft preferredExcels at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentsExcels at building effective relationships across diverse populationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and detail oriented with project managementHandles stressful situations and deadline pressures wellRequires minimal direction in carrying out responsibilitiesAcute level of customer service skillsAssociated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
