Your Premium Auditor responsibilities:
  • Review records and data to ensure employers report the correct assessable earnings and pay the appropriate premiums.
  • Review employer operations to ensure employers are properly classified for rate-setting purposes.
  • Ensure appropriate experience is used to set the employer premium rate.
  • Verify worker status and earnings to ensure proper worker claims charging.
  • Communicate findings, root causes, and corrective action plans to employers.
  • Investigate allegations of unregistered employers, unauthorized premium deductions, etc.
  • Educate employers to improve their disability management programs through consultations.
  • Educate employers and other stakeholders on WCB legislation and pricing programs.
  • Additional duties as required.


Your experience and skills:
  • An undergraduate degree with courses in business administration, finance, or accounting.
  • At least two years of directly related auditing experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
  • Excellent computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent research, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a commitment to providing quality customer service within a team environment.
  • Although the work is conducted predominantly from home, there is occasional overnight travel within the province and a roadworthy vehicle is required.

Salary: Pay Grade 11 $80,762.00 to $94,976.00 per annum

Final candidates for this position are required to undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
