The
Technology Capacity Infrastructure Lead Analyst
role is part of the Global Capacity Management organization focused on understanding the global Citi estate, where it can be optimized, and how it needs to be transformed. The analyst will be part of a team responsible for managing the Global Capacity Infrastructure and Tools environment and related processes in support of a of a large distributed server environment to ensure the availability of capacity management data and analytics and management of the associated processes. Key roles also include management of the BMC Truesight Capacity Optimization application and infrastructure and migration to and ongoing support of the BMC Helix Continuous Optimization platform. The analyst will provide analysis and expertise to facilitate remediation of issues in the distributed capacity infrastructure and tools environment and the related areas. The role will also identify gaps and define key metrics required for analytics and trending, develop criteria to measure opportunity and risk, and establish processes to provide ongoing oversight.

Effective analytic/diagnostic skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audienceHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervisionCan exercise independence of judgement and autonomyActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersDesign of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practicesAbility to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadlineExperience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferredDesign testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and assist with the automation of repetitive tasksAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
5+ Years Demonstrated expertise in management and maintenance of BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) and/or Helix Continuous Optimization (HCO) distributed tool suite5+ Years Expertise in capacity planning, systems performance analysis, and optimization in a distributed environment5+ Years Experience with integration and interpretation of capacity metrics from TrueSight Capacity Optimization or similar tools5+ Years Advanced ability including and scripting including Perl, Shell, Python, SQL, and Java5+ Years Advanced ability to use tools and databases to parse, merge, analyze, and present capacity and performance data5+ Years Strong technical problem-solving skills5+ Years Advanced written and oral communication capabilities5+ Years Demonstrated ability to operate independently, set own priorities, and manage multiple concurrent work streams5+ Years Experience in architecture, sizing, tuning, and optimization for software containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShiftOverall IT experience in a Client-Server environment with practical knowledge of mainframe, midrange, distributed, hybrid, and desktop technologiesBroad knowledge of advanced environment measurement & management tools, performance modeling tools, capacity analysis tools, and other advanced trending toolsIntegration of external tools, connectors, and APIs including APM, Database, Inventory, and other platforms/servicesExperience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferredEducation:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
