From e-commerce platform to other BSS and OSS systems, to big data and beyond, our team play vital roles in connecting consumers with the products and platforms of tomorrow.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop API specifications using OpenAPI Specifications/YAML that is scalable and provide greater security on dataCreate build and deployment pipelines for APIs using appropriate tools to implementContinuous integration and continuous deploymentSupport end-end management of the APIs over its entire lifecycleWork with various application teams to understand their business needs and requirements for the API implementationEnsure API documentation is created and remains up to dateLead the development review and ensure code and design quality with appropriate logging, monitoring, tracing, and security standards in placeHelp troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the API platform, API accessibility and API deploymentsPerform root cause analysis for Production issues and come up with solutions that will prevent them from happening in the futureParticipate and contribute in grooming technical user stories impacting integrationSkills, Experience and RequirementsExperience:Minimum of 4 years of experience in development, and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java TechnologiesAt least 4 years of hands on experience with design, development and implementation of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration or Node.js based MicroservicesSkills and Qualifications:Excellent analytical, oral, written communication and presentation skills with ability to interact with global delivery technical teamsExperience in Agile methodologies - Kanban or SCRUMExperience in Deploying Microservices (spring-boot, node.js) on Docker, Kubernetes, etc.Good understanding of security protocols (e.g. OAuth, SAML)Governance, Event Driven Architecture, message-based architectures, and caching strategies and frameworksDemonstrated knowledge of test-driven development practices and experience with any of the version control tools such as GitLab, and Continuous Integrations with various CI/CD toolsExperience with Swagger/Swagger HubExperience with API Gateway & Management, e.g. ApigeeExperience with Docker & KubernetesExperience with AWS cloud productsSalary RangesCompensation: $106,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year BenefitsWe offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
