Inizio Evoke Comms is a global, award-winning health communications agency that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medtech, consumer, and non-profit clients. We deliver insights-driven public relations campaigns, policy programs, and initiatives that advance health and wellbeing around the world.

We are looking for an Account Director to join our growing team and to lead projects and programs for multiple clients. This is an opportunity to lead hands-on planning, management, implementation and financial administration of Public Relations (PR) programming for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, using your communications skillset and experience to improve health and make a difference.

This is a hybrid role that will report to a Senior Vice President.You Will:

Client Partnership

Develop relationships with clients and external audiencesThoughtfully counsel clients based on communications landscape and business goals, showcasing ability to marry communications/PR tactics up to client's broader strategyDirect planning and execution of projects ensuring timeliness, efficiency and high-quality delivery of resultsPlay a major part in drafting client communications materials, such as emails, project proposals, newsletters, research and results reports, press releases/materials, video scripts, social media content, etc.Have skills necessary to handle issue management, mobilizing teams to provide strategically sound recommendations to clients on how to handle/address issuesPlay active role in developing and overseeing development of client budgets and SOWs, overseeing monthly financials for each client, and mentoring mid-to-junior level staff on financialsTake an active role in monthly forecasting and developing staff plans for core clientsLead client interactions and liaise with external partners

Business Development

Research, develop and present new business proposals, gaining more confidence and experience leading new business effortsIdentify and realize opportunities for organic account growthUtilize data to drive agency recommendations and idea generation

Leadership & Teamwork

Provide direct and constructive feedback to junior team members, supporting them in developing fundamental skills (writing, research, logistics, etc.)Encourage regular feedback from manager and team membersConduct annual reviews for direct reports and regular check-ins, overseeing professional development and opportunities for growth and advancementOversee junior staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching and providing detailed feedbackRole model for company values and inspire an inclusive culture

You Have:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or health / science related field or equivalent experience7+ years' communications or related marketing / advocacy / health experienceHealth communications experience requiredTeam player, ability to work cooperatively across teamsA leadership presenceCompelling style in communicating with clients, teams and external partnersExperienced in managing resources and budgetsAbility to develop well-crafted client presentationsA passion for improving lives through innovations in healthAn understanding of current issues in domestic and global health

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. We consider compensation more than just a base salary - that's why we also offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits, personal support and tailored learning and development opportunities all designed to help you realize your full potential both in life and at work.

Compensation

$100,000-$135,000 USD
