$160,000 - $185,000The Superior Group is looking for an Associate General Counsel to support our legal team in employment, transactions, corporate governance, and other legal matters. The ideal candidate has prior experience in employment law, contracts, dispute resolution, and is skilled in identifying risks and opportunities. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, will be a member of TSG’s Legal team, and will report to the General Counsel.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide independent legal judgment and direct advice to senior management and the Executive TeamPartner with the Human Resources team on employment matters and the development of policies and processesCollaborate closely with colleagues across Project Operations, Field Operations, and Business Development to align on current and upcoming construction contractsDraft, review, and negotiate contracts and other agreementsParticipate in the management of outside legal resourcesPromote and support the Company’s safety and health programsDemonstrate the highest standard of ethical behavior and dedication to serving our teamYour Character TraitsYou’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou’re a team player and are ready to work with colleagues across the organizationYou’re passionate about what you do, and you’re effective at guiding and inspiring othersYou’re trustworthy and are able to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in sensitive situationsYour ExpertiseAdmitted to practice law in OhioYou have 3+ years of experience with a law firm, in-house corporate legal department, or on the staff of a government agencyYou have prior experience in employment law and/or construction lawBonus points if you are familiar with construction industry transactionsOur BenefitsWe offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of TSG.
