Instructional Designer (Articulate 360 Storyline and Vyond)

We are working exclusively with our client to identify an Instructional Designer to develop and produce learning solutions through a formal instructional design methodology. Responsibilities may involve collaborating with the client's University Leadership to create and develop learning solutions across various delivery formats (e.g., instructor-led training, self-paced learning, blended learning) in adherence to guidelines, best practices, and standards established by leadership.
The Consultant will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop training materials including microlearning and job aids. eLearning modules will range 20-40 minutes (includes quizzes and videos so some interactivity). Content may include software training, coaching training, and technical training. Several client check-ins will be required early in the project, as well as check-ins at 30-60-90% completion of projects.

40 hours/week (8am - 4pm EST or CST, with some flexibility)
Location:
Can work on a 100% virtual basis.
Experience Requirements:
Strong experience in Instructional Design and Adult Learning TheoryProven experience in Project ManagementAdvanced to expert-level experience in eLearning Design and DevelopmentAdvanced to expert-level experience in Microsoft Suite and Articulate Storyline 360; experience in tools such as Synthesia, Vyond, 7Taps (CDM Smith can provide licenses if needed)Experience in the Architectural/Construction industry is nice to have, but not requiredA proactive approach to creating training materials, with the ability to independently manage the development process, while also partnering with team members as needed.
The pay rate range is $60.00 to $75.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
