Position PurposeEpidemiology is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Assistant who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our department's operations and culture. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with faculty, staff, and diverse internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs ExpBachelors plus 1-2 year(s) of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication abilities, paired with excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with faculty, staff, and external partnersProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to a dynamic environment.Demonstrated willingness to exercise sound judgment and take initiative, while professionally interacting with a diverse range of faculty personnel and external agencies.Flexible and open to change, with a readiness to pivot as priorities and needs shift within the departmentStrong ability to plan and prioritize work effectively, managing competing deadlines and responding to changes in schedules with composure.A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and communications.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and foster trust in sensitive situations.Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Slack, and other relevant software, along with a willingness to learn new applications as needed.
