The HRBP provides guidance in overall Human Resources policies and procedures. They contribute to process improvements and support initiatives related to employee relations and company culture, working to drive both organizational success and a positive work environment.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe key duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner include, but are not limited to:Employee Relations:Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner as assigned.Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees and management as assigned.Research and recommend company policies and procedures related to employee relations, staying attuned to the workplace climate and collaborate with HR Leadership on proactive steps to move forward.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment and labor laws and regulations.Collaborate with HR Leadership to address performance issues and disciplinary actions.Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations issues and actions taken.Make recommendations in the development and delivery of employee training programs related to workplace behavior, ethics, and conflict resolution based on workplace climate.Support employee relations and engagement with administrative projects for appreciation and recognition.Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company values and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.Represent and engage in company events and projects with some taking place outside of regular business hours.HR Operations:Provide guidance, coaching, support, and resources to managers and employees on a variety of HR areas including HR policies / handbook, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management, while maintaining good working relationships and building credibility.Maintain employee data integrity in the HRIS system through partnering with leaders to ensure related information to employee’s pay, status, location, access etc. is updated and accurate.Provide support in maintaining our Teammate Handbook and company policies, including reviewing existing policies, identifying changes, and drafting language recommendations.Provides support to organizational and workforce planning including reporting analytics, maintaining teammate information, and collaborating with leaders.Partners with HR Leaders to efficiently implement, administer and deliver company-wide HR programs, processes, and projects.Collaborate within HR and our cross-function partners to develop, iterate and improve People team processes.Model and reinforce our cultural values of CARES: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Equity, and Stewardship.Other duties as assigned.Education/Experience7 or more years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP.9+ years in the Human Resources function.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field preferred.Proficiency with HRIS (Dayforce).SHRM-CP or PHR a plus.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExceptional communication, interpersonal, customer service skills.Strong demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple, competing priorities with attention to detail.Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.Ability to travel when required.Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Ability to learn new software programs to support business development.Work Environment/Physical DemandsThe work environment/physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
