Experienced Cannabis Dispensary Manager

We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic Cannabis Dispensary Manager to lead and oversee the launch of a new dispensary. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in managing cannabis dispensaries, especially in startup environments, and be comfortable with travel to different locations as needed. This role requires a hands-on approach to setting up new operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with cannabis regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the opening and setup of a new dispensary, including hiring, training, and managing the team
Ensure full compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, including proper documentation and reporting
Travel as needed to support the setup and operations of new dispensary locations
Oversee inventory management, from ordering and receiving to tracking and auditing stock levels
Develop and implement business strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and compliance procedures
Manage customer interactions, ensuring excellent service and addressing issues as they arise
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of products
Implement marketing and promotional strategies to build brand awareness and drive foot traffic
Regularly review sales performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency to make data-driven improvements
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in managing cannabis dispensaries, with proven success in launching new locations
Strong understanding of cannabis products, including strains, concentrates, edibles, and industry trends
Thorough knowledge of state and local cannabis laws and compliance requirements
Must be willing to travel regularly to various locations as part of the role
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities
Proficient with POS systems, inventory management software, and reporting tools
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a background check
