Senior Financial Analyst, Clinical Franchise Pricing (Hybrid)

Overview:The Pricing Strategy team has an opportunity available for a Senior Financial Analyst (“SFA”) – Clinical Solutions and Advanced Diagnostics Pricing at our corporate headquarters in Secaucus, NJ. Pricing Strategy is a Center of Expertise within the Finance function.
Responsibilities:
The clinical franchises are organized into eight disease/health states, including General Health & Wellness, Women’s and Reproductive Health, Oncology, Sports Diagnostics and more. A primary responsibility is to partner with Clinical Franchise Product Directors, Finance, Operations, Compliance and Legal to develop value-based pricing recommendations for product launches and strategic repricing.
Pricing recommendations are data-driven. The SFA role leverages internal systems and models to develop financial forecasts that lead to actionable insights in support of business solutions. There are opportunities for both ownership and/or partnership on decisions.
Price adjustments have significant revenue implications based on the multiple payors in the healthcare industry, including Patient, Client, Third Party and Government. The role requires assessing implications of price adjustments by applying pricing fundamentals, financial rigor, and marketing strategy.
There are large scale opportunities that require participation from stakeholders and business partners across the company. The SFA will lead/partner on cross functional projects that support revenue growth, risk mitigation and/or operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Strong data manipulation and modeling skillsets using Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables) at a minimum; Access, SQL and/or Python is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments
Strong sense of personal accountability and the drive to make a difference in results and relationships
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Pricing or related focus preferred
MBA preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of 4-7 years with a mix of pricing, operations, finance, marketing, or sales analysis experience with strong quantitative capabilities
