As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting our mission through sound fiscal practices. You will work closely with the Finance Director and other team members to maintain the financial integrity of the organization and support our continued growth and impact. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is desired.Salary:

BachelorsResponsibilities

Manage and assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and organizational policies.Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, grant expenditures, and donor contributions.Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Provide support and training to junior accounting staff and assist with resolving accounting-related issues.Skills
