Takes ordered x-ray images and performs a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level following established guidelines on infant, toddler, preschool, school age, adolescent and young adult patients. Includes preparing patient and equipment, working with PACS, operating various radiology equipment and devices and maintaining films and files. Schedules and assigns staff to meet the requirements of the department.This position is full-time, exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $86,000 - $109,500 annually. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.Responsibilities:Manages Patient Care Delivery in Radiology DepartmentMaintains safety and compliance objectives at all times.Leads and inspires department personnel to meet professional goals and training objectives.Organizes and rallies other clinical resources to meet patient care objectives as needed.Maintains appropriate budget and monitors department expenses.Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferredRadiology Technologist license in the state of Hawaii required.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification recognized by American Heart Association (AHA) required.Minimum five (5) years radiologic technologist experience preferred.Supervisory experience highly preferred.Pediatric and orthopedic background preferred.
