As the

Director of Investor Development and Early Career , you will lead our efforts to build out our holistic learning and development for investment professionals throughout the lifecycle from new analyst to seasoned portfolio manager. In conjunction with investment leaders and our talent acquisition team, you will identify and nurture investment talent for the firm while raising the profile of our brand in the early career recruiting market. You will be a strategic leader in the Investment Enablement team, with global responsibility and have oversight for the Capital Associates Program (CAP) - a premier early career investment training program. You will plan and manage both broad and targeted development initiatives across multiple global groups with the objective of increasing associates' effectiveness via improvements in technical and functional investment skillsets as well as broader business acumen.

Primary responsibilities:Envision and enact a learning and development strategic plan for the full lifecycle of an investor.Provide leadership for the Capital Associates Program (CAP), utilizing best practices within the early career and investor development space. Partner with the global investment group to develop CAP talent for future investment and leadership roles at the firm.Identify, prioritize, and evaluate key Learning and Development initiatives for Investors at Capital.Monitor and assess the overall effectiveness of the current learning and development programs, adjusting as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.Manage a team that includes associates rotating through the early career program.

Desired experience:Bachelor/Master's degree.Minimum of 10 years of progressive talent development experience.Early career program management experience.Minimum of 5 years working in the financial services industry, preferably with direct investor/research experience (buy or sell side).Experience developing a learning and development strategy, influencing investors and leaders across the organization, and executing for measurable results.

Compensation:Southern California Base Salary Range: $217,648-$370,002San Francisco Base Salary Range: $239,993-$407,988New York Base Salary Range: $230,736-$392,251In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
