POSITION SUMMARY

As a leading global provider, this key position is responsible for coverage across all federal, state, intelligence community, and commercial market segments to support the range of Constellis' synergistic services, including advanced training, logistics and life support, crisis response, UAV, and security technology and infrastructure. This position will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will work with Constellis Corporate Senior Leadership. This position will focus on corporate programs of strategic value to the company for the Mission Support Services (MSS) business unit. The MSS business unit includes operations and maintenance, base operations support, vehicle fleet maintenance and construction, advanced training, logistics and life support, crisis response, UAV, and security technology and infrastructure. The Vice President of Business Development and Capture provides strategic input on the business unit's business development plan as well as hands-on leadership for individual key strategic opportunities. This position will be responsible for developing strategic growth plans, opportunity roadmaps, and strategic engagement campaigns. This position will be responsible for managing the business unit's pipeline by identifying and qualifying opportunities that align with corporate strategy and targeted customers to increase overall company growth and profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all business development and capture activities to support a healthy pipeline for the Constellis Division.

Identify new opportunities aligned to the corporate strategy and drive organic growth within the existing portfolio.

Manage daily business development activities and oversee capture activities across the team to include price-to-win and proposal efforts.

Ensure alignment with leadership on business development objectives, competitive positioning, and strategic pursuits.

Build capture teams and assign capture resources across the company in collaboration with functional area leads (contracts, pricing, finance, HR, etc.).

Participate in the development and execution of all periodic reviews.

Oversee pipeline management and provide updates on overall business development activities.

Understand the competitive landscape to assemble competitive teams to win specific opportunities.

Recommend business growth and win strategies for major opportunities.

Support teaming strategies and recruit industry partners to increase opportunity PWin.

Participate and provide expertise and leadership in the annual strategic planning process and annual operating plan development.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Active Top Secret clearance required.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.

15+ years business development or capture management experience.

Multi-disciplined experience leading winning U.S. government captures (>$100M) in one or more of the following mission support areas: international operations; construction, infrastructure, operations and maintenance; logistics; and national security/intelligence community.

Prior military or IC experience (preferred).

Previous project or program management experience (preferred).

Familiarity with capture tools (GovWin IQ, Salesforce, etc.).

Proficient with government opportunity databases (SAM, FPDS, etc.).

Ability to synthesize requirements and present business cases for action/corporate response in a clear, concise, focused manner.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Computer proficient and experienced with the full Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM.

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
