Strategic Partnership Marketing, Associate Director for

The Manuals

, a medical information website that started as a book in 1899, is now available online in 14 languages and caters to consumers and medical professionals to understand symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. The position is responsible for helping to find, develop, implement, and maintain strategic partnerships by offering linking agreements, info button functionality, and search widgets to the various Manual websites to increase traffic. Working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Artificial Intelligence vendors is a key component of the position, along with Health Information Technology vendors looking to add medical content. This role also includes a marketing component to help advertise key partnerships and attract new alliances in the healthcare and veterinary markets. Trade show attendance will be necessary to represent the Manuals and attract new partners as well as create awareness among attendees.

Responsibilities include:

Work with leads globally to explore, develop, and execute strategic partnership opportunities that drive use and traffic of our company Manuals.

Identify and advance a pipeline of new partnership opportunities and ensure expansion of key relationships.

Monitor current agreements with partners and ensure timely renewals.

Negotiate deal terms with partners.

Seek out new industry trends in the HIT and EHR space and report back to the team on impacts.

Monitor and estimate monthly traffic from all sources, including major partners.

Provide frontline technical assistance to partners.

Attend 10+ trade shows in healthcare and veterinary medicine.

Create marketing plans for key partnerships and collaborate to execute a PR strategy for corporate partners.

Ensure partner marketing materials are up to date, coordinating with the creative team to redesign & update as necessary.

Create & manage marketing plans for both internal & external marketing efforts.

Write & distribute quarterly e-blasts to relevant audiences in human health and veterinary spaces.

Coordinate with social media & technical teams to highlight reactive & timely content on our company Manuals homepages.

Design & launch microsites, in coordination with the technical team, to drive viewership & engagement with MM sites.

Minimum Education required:

4-year Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, business, or related fields.

Required experience and skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing or partnership/sales/strategy related roles.

Experience identifying and evaluating new partners in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) industry.

Excellent presentation skills and some negotiation experience.

Ability to collaborate with teammates on the Manuals team.

20-25% travel.

Preferred Experience and skills:

Experience in the electronic health record or health information technology industry.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work model consisting of three total days on-site per week.

The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States.

Expected US salary range: $135,500.00 - $213,400.00

Available benefits include bonus eligibility, health care and other insurance benefits, retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
