Peraton is looking for a seasoned

Sr. Telecommunications Administrator.

The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the Finance and Regulatory Program.

The qualified candidate must be able to work on-site (daily) at Government facility (Washington, DC)

What you will do: Lead communication team to provide highly available, scalable, reliable, and secure Communications Services to meet the customer's business needs. Provide Communications Services that can leverage operational scale and best practices to achieve optimum commercial price performance. Provide administrative, operational, and management support. Achieve agreed-to Service Levels. Provide On-Call escalation support for the 24x7x365 Service Desk. Installing, configuring, and setting up requested equipment and support, as needed. Establishing a baseline configuration for audio and video systems. Performing diagnostics and troubleshooting audio and video systems. Providing telephone support, to include diagnostics and troubleshooting, to remote and off-network locations. Performing all required preventive maintenance and coordinating other non-emergency maintenance on all audio and video equipment. Provide technical and operational recommendations. Operating, troubleshooting and/or installing sound and video equipment, and installing and operating ancillary equipment such as projectors and laptop computers. Training end users and managers on use of equipment and services. Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience is required. Additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. Must have and maintain a current (CTNS) Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist certificate prior to onboarding. Practical skills, experience, and training designing, configuring, and deploying audio/video communications services hardware and software including, but not limited to, Avaya phone system and monitoring/administration tools, AT&T Toll-free network, and cable management. Experience in the operation and administration of audio/video communication systems. Experience with Microsoft Teams collaboration software and integration with video conferencing systems. Basic knowledge of network technologies with the ability to troubleshoot minor network connectivity issues, including: Network Interface Card (NIC) problems. Cabling issues. TCP/IP configuration errors. Must have experience in using ticketing systems to manage incidents and requests (e.g., ServiceNow tools). Must be experienced in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processes. Must be able to capture data from tools to present trends for decision-making. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance (Public Trust). Experience in MS Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint). Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Agency clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in information technology, Computer Science is preferred. Active Public Trust clearance is also a plus. Benefits:

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
