Talascend is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Lead Senior Business Analyst position located in Windsor, CT.
DURATION:

OVERVIEW:
Lead requirement gathering and projects within our National Accounts Sales Division. You will act as a liaison between Technical Teams and Business Stakeholders on system development and enhancements. You will conduct business process analysis and needs assessments, lead scope definition negotiations, elicit and document requirements, and review solution designs to align technical solutions with business initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and support system requirement enhancements and updates.Deliver clear requirements that meet user needs, and which are feasible technically, and in compliance with our company’s internal development standards and practices.Assist the business in creation of strategic roadmaps, as well as driving the deliverables identified in on-going backlog grooming, including development of compelling business cases and ROI models.Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and user community and the IT community.Partner with all levels of IT, including Architects and Developers on solution design.Communicate changes and enhancements, verbally or through written documentation, to Developers, Sponsors and Business Stakeholders.Participate in and provide analysis-shaping requirements, development estimates, and system designs.Work with Test and QA to validate releases and match the requirements set for it.Attend monthly Release and perform PAT Testing.Manage document repositories, maintenance, and updates of project documentation library.Review progress and evaluate result accuracy and efficiency.Conduct basic financial modeling, project planning analytical and problem solving.Organize system work and run it as a program with a long-term vision.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar area of study -OR- in lieu of degree, a High School Diploma or GED and 5-10 years of relevant work experience.5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Project Manager required.Experience in Agile, BABOK, and Waterfall methodologies.Requirement gathering for core technology systems and internal application projects.JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet’s for project plans and/or reporting.Prefer CCBA or CBAP Certification; Salesforce; Data Mapping; Swimlane Diagramming/Process Modeling.
