Crest is looking for a

Commercial Lines Jr. Account Manager . This is a wonderful opportunity to have a career in a fast-growing insurance brokerage firm. We have physical locations in Arizona, Colorado, California, Nevada and Wyoming servicing customers in all 50 states.Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma and 3 or more years Commercial Lines Associate (Processor) or related experience

Resident State P&C license required

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to navigate various carrier websites to retrieve items for processing or customer inquiries.

Preferred Qualification:

Previous experience working in Applied EPIC and CSR24

Ability to read MVR's

Ability to be highly organized, yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working with people in a high-volume customer service environment.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a teamwork environment.

Examples of Essential Job Duties:

Initiate any type of change request and send to carrier to make policy changes, issue certificates, auto ID cards, and any/all other insurance documents customary to commercial lines processes.

Respond to internal and external inquiries and/or requests in a timely manner

Follow up with Carriers for the following types of documents: Policies & endorsements either via email or via the applicable carrier website

MVR's - Order and know how to read

Request Loss Runs from carriers or retrieve from applicable carrier website

Process certificate requests in CSR 24, both individual and renewal requests

Assist with clients' access & utilization of the CSR 24 Client Portal

Review and/or process new and renewal policies, endorsements, audits, audit assignments, cancellations, non-renewal notices, proof of auto insurance, and all similar documents for accuracy and prepare correspondence to insured and/or carrier as needed

Review and adhere to processing procedures in order to incorporate the capabilities of the system into the daily workflow and streamline the workflow

Work closely with Account Executive/Account Manager as well as Brokers to develop the skills and insurance knowledge necessary to perform assigned tasks as well as develop strong independent, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible for working directly with Account Executive/Account Manager and/or Brokers, at the supervision and direction of the Account Executive/Account Manager, to service and retain assigned client accounts

Assist Account Executive/Account Manager and Broker, at the direction of the Account Executive/Account Manager, in coordinating with marketing during the marketing and quotation process by completing and reviewing applications to help identify and target new business lines for existing insureds and/or making recommendations to Broker for account rounding as appropriate

Assist in the process of binding coverage which may include requesting all coverages bound, confirming all coverage is bound, and issuing binders or obtaining binders from wholesalers on behalf of customers as needed and checking for accuracy

Maintain current knowledge of insurance coverages and exposures and the insurance products and markets available to cover the exposures

Works at direction of Account Executive/Account Manager gaining knowledge and ability to create Summaries of Insurance and Proposals of Insurance

Assist Account Executive/Account Manager in Invoicing - timely, accurately, and per agency policy and procedure as well as reading and understanding Account Receivables procedures

Follow agency Standard of Excellence and Best Practices procedures for processing and preparation of customer correspondence, certificates of insurance, binders, cancellation requests, insurance I.D. cards and internal correspondence as requested ensuring that activities and follow-ups are set and the client file in the Agency Management systems is updated and consistent

Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions

Other duties as assigned.
