Below are some of the responsibilities the Microsoft Dynamics / Power Apps Developer may be expected to assume in their position:
Participate in requirements analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
Write clean, scalable code using MUMPS programming language.
Test and deploy applications and systems.
Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
Improve existing software.
Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Research and develop HL7 messages and manage approval process.
The Must-Haves: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.
Must currently reside in the US.
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or other Information Technology major (Or equivalent work experience)
Proven work experience as a Mumps developer
Experience with
VA VistA
Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Familiarity with design/architectural patterns (Model-View-Controller (MVC))
Familiarity with System Design Documents (SDD) and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
Develops code independently using the VPE Editor or Cache Studio
Preferred Skills/Experience: The experience listed below are preferred for this job
Strong understanding of modern software design and development methodologies
Strong understanding of modern SCM (software configuration management)
Basic understanding of testing tools and unit and integration test scripting and testing methodologies
Experience on one or more full release project life cycles
Able to apply consistently quality and security standards
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients
Ability to work with Web-development tools for new applications
Experience writing code using languages such as (and not limited to) COBOL, PL/1, Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net, Delphi
Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio)
