The Senior Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cutting-edge inhaled nitric oxide device, a transformative technology that is redefining the standard of care for acute patients. This life-saving device supports vulnerable individuals by delivering inhaled nitric oxide therapy, offering critical respiratory support to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Leadership:
Provide strategic direction and vision to the software engineering team throughout the product lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements Definition & Analysis:
Create clear product and feature scopes, defining priorities and expected outcomes for the engineering team.
Backlog Management:
Collaborate with the engineering team to prepare and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring efficient workflow aligned with the product vision and business value.
Stakeholder Communication:
Keep clients and collaborators updated on product status, lead product release planning, and set expectations for new features and functionalities.
Strategic Planning:
Research and analyze market trends, user needs, and competitor activity to inform product requirements and drive business strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with hardware and software teams, manage customer experience trade-offs, and proactively resolve issues to deliver high-quality products on time.
Project Management & Dependency Oversight:
Lead efforts to mitigate challenges, ensure effective change management, manage dependencies, and facilitate the successful completion of release/sprint goals.
Minimum Requirements:
2-5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a clinical environment.
1-3 years of experience as a Product Manager for Software Development.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in team settings.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Familiarity with Agile practices and principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative thinker focused on product improvement.
Understanding of product feature prioritization.
Experience in developing product roadmaps.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Product Management tools (e.g., Aha!, Jira).
Understanding of SCRUM methodology and the ability to write user stories.
