WE LOVE OUR WORK:

Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Security, Risk and Casino Housekeeping departments. Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.

Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.

Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.

Develops, evaluates, enforces, reviews and approves changes or revisions to operating practices, procedures and standards based on business trends and practices.

Provides for the safety of team members including keeping areas free of safety hazards, debris and litter.

Identifies and resolves security related problems.

Develops and implement alternative methods for security operation improvement.

Evaluate activities affecting integrity and liability issues and modify internal controls, policies or procedures to remedy the problem.

Review activity reports to monitor performance of respective functions.

Collaborate with other department heads formally and informally to ensure efficient and effective procedures are being utilized.

Aid in the development of and constant monitoring of the operating budget for the Security, Risk Management, and Housekeeping departments. Propose capital improvements.

Monitor team member and guest claims. Ensure all procedures facilitate the investigation and administration of the claims to minimize the company’s exposure.

Monitor the safety programs and make proposals to minimize the physical risks to our team members and guests.

Oversees EVS (Environmental Services / Casino Housekeeping), responsible for all cleaning activities, including hallways, offices, dining and gaming areas, rest rooms, stairways, elevators/escalators, windows, parking lots, sidewalks and other exterior areas.

Ensure that company cleanliness standards are maintained by the housekeeping department.

Examines and analyzes the physical property, processes and procedures and develop, institute, oversee and enforce emergency policies.

Serve as liaison with gaming regulators, public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security by maintaining a positive and constructive relationship.

Conducts, supervises and prepare reports relating to investigations of any losses or violations of law, regulations, policies or procedures.

Transfers Table Games fills and credits.

Provides escorts as needed.

Testifies in court when necessary.

Protects and preserves the assets of the company.

Compiles information, complete and submit reports to authorized management or Accounting as required.

Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / AGM.

Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

BRING US YOUR BEST:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent; or five to seven year of casino Security, military, or police experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of leadership experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Must have the ability to operate a manual and automatic transmission automobile.
