EF has offices and programs in the Eurasia region, the Middle East, and China.Position SummaryThe Program Assistant will work under close supervision of Program Officer or his/her designee, providing administrative support to help coordinate fellowships and exchanges for participants of programs under the Civic Engagement and Leadership (CEL) department. Responsibilities of this role will include responding to requests from the Program Officer and other staff, administrative duties such as processing contracts and payments, communicating with program participants, conducting research, drafting sections of a variety of technical documents including quarterly reports and memos, and supporting CEL’s monitoring and evaluation efforts by assisting with data collection. The PA may also assist with CEL’s business development efforts as needed and may perform other duties as assigned.Perform a full range of administrative tasks to support Program Officer and other staff, including organizing and coordinating virtual and in-person events, preparing contracts with vendors, processing payment requests, and drafting memos and ensuring proper record keepingAssist with a variety of duties related to international travel of program participants, to include arranging travel, processing stipends and payments, booking tours, scheduling and coordinating activities for their arrival, stay, and returnProvide liaison support between CEL staff, program participants, consultants, and other organizations/ partners involved in program implementationAssist with proofreading and editing, and may provide draft sections of program reportsAssist with program data collection, cleansing, and entrySupport the development of administrative processes in Microsoft SharePointProvide assistance with business development activities, including research and writing as neededEducationBachelor’s degree in international relations or related field required.Qualifications/ExperienceStrong research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are required.Advanced Microsoft Office experience required.Fluency in writing and speaking English.Report writing and program management experience preferred.Speaking, reading, and writing in Russian preferred.The ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines while quickly producing high-quality work is essential.The Eurasia Foundation is committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment and in our services, programs, and activities.
