Genesys is seeking a Services Engagement Director (SED) to join the Journey Management Services team in North America.The Services Engagement Director will provide leadership in identifying strategic business opportunities for the Professional Services organization to generate revenue and achieve sales objectives. This position requires a person with the ability to recognize opportunities, along with technical services sales experience to successfully negotiate and close deals.This position will align with Account Executives, Sales leadership, and Customer Success Managers as a member of the Genesys pursuit and expansion teams. The SED will generate, deliver, and process Professional Services Statements of Work related to implementations of the Genesys Pointillist product.The role will have quarterly financial targets (bookings and project profitability) that must be met for the organization to attain projected revenue and build consulting services backlog.What you'll be doing

Participate in the pre-sales process to fully understand the client and their needs, tasks, and gathering requirements.Assist the sales teams with project scoping exercises and preparing statements of work to be delivered by the Genesys Pointillist Professional Services Team.Pursue Professional Services sales leads and prospective clients.Align with the Pointillist Delivery Manager on Forecast and Pipeline and provide dashboards.Create and Deliver Professional Services Statements of Work that align to customer deployment objectives.Network and develop strong business relationships. Contribute to strategic and tactical planning for the growth of the professional services.Build client relationships, delivering presentations and proposals.Maintain extensive knowledge of current produce and market conditions in addition to customer buying strategies to negotiate and close business deals.Generate pipeline of services orders to attain financial objectives and build backlog.Work closely with professional services technical delivery leads to enhance service offerings and provide customers with value for PS Delivery.What you'll bring to the role

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.8+ years in a business setting with at least three years of experience in a customer-facing sales business solutions, digital solutions, and/or telecommunications environment.Ability to work effectively both individually and with a team.Ability to travel 50-60% of the time.Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven success in sales - lead generation, acquisitions, and relationship management.Preferred Qualifications:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.$108,150.00 - $212,250.00Benefits:
