August 19, 2024 - Open Until FilledResponsibilitiesAppointment Administration for Non-Senate Academic Titles (45%):

Responsible for administration of all departmental non-senate academic personnel, which includes coordination and administration of appointments, preparation and coordination of appointment-related activities, maintenance of confidential personnel records, and advising on salary administration.Recruitment for Non-Senate Faculty Titles (20%):

Administer all phases of the non-senate faculty recruitment process, advise search committee, and coordinate candidate interviews.Coordination of Visiting Appointments (15%):

Support faculty hosts to coordinate the appointment and arrival of department visitors, maintain visitor roster, and counsel department personnel on compensation and visa matters.Provide Counseling and Guidance on Academic Personnel Related Matters (10%):

Provide counseling and guidance on non-senate faculty appointments, compensation programs, and academic personnel policies.Backup to Senate Academic Personnel Administrator (5%):

Assist with senate faculty recruitment activities and coordination with regional HR partners.Other (5%):

Participate in professional training and development opportunities and other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.Ability to analyze complex issues and develop project scope and solutions.Demonstrated organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.Knowledge of Human Resources Management System and related business software programs.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse community.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent customer service and organizational skills.Knowledge of visa policies and procedures related to non-US citizens.Salary & BenefitsThe budgeted salary or hourly range is $85,000 to $105,000 annually.
