Jacksonville, FLYou will focus on developing and driving changes in relation to the Anti-Financial Crimes (AFC) Governance framework in the Americas region. Critical responsibilities include executing key deliverables in response to regulatory commitments and to support the day-to-day functions; developing robust AFC Governance, to enable appropriate senior management decision making. You will participate in designing key changes and engage in high priority projects to embed such measures. The role holder requires a strong AFC and government or regulatory background, and excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The role will support the AFC Americas Governance run-the-bank (RtB) function.What We Offer You

Drive superior end-to-end management of content, prepare materials, maintain calendar for, and participate in AFC Governance facilitated and/or supported forumsSupport enhancements of AFC Governance facilitated forums including, but not limited to, alignment with the global governance framework and overall 2LoD (second-line of-defense) governance structure, maintain and update forum mandates, tasks/responsibilities, and parameters to achieve the mandates (e.g., requisite metrics, logistics, etc.), and developing escalation paths, as needed;Partner with MI team to analyze and challenge financial crime risk metrics to ensure completeness and distill key information in a manner that is clear, concise, and actionable prior to distributionTrack calendars for Deutsche Bank Management Boards, identify AFC inputs/deliverables, and coordinate process to appropriately prepare AFC participants, including Head/Deputy Head of AFCParticipate in formalizing and creating relevant materials, engagement models, training, and escalation paths for AFC Governance across first and second lines of defense;Maintain an understanding of AFC functions and non-AFC specialist functions that cover ‘AML, Terrorist Financing, and all other criminal activities’, to understand how Deutsche Bank stakeholder groups are managing associated financial crime risks; and participate in and provide support for AFC Governance CtB efforts, as neededHow You’ll Lead

Partner with MI team to analyze and challenge financial crime risk metrics to ensure completeness and distill key information in a manner that is clear, concise, and actionable prior to distributionLiaise with AFC Program heads (BSA/AML, Sanctions/OFAC, Anti-Fraud, Anti-Bribery & Corruption) and non-AFC stakeholders responsible for the management of other forms of specialist criminal activity (IT Security, Corporate Security, Group Legal, Group Data Privacy, Group Tax), as neededSkills You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; post-graduate a plusAFC, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, or relevant experience; Experience with senior-level executives and forumsProblem solver with strong technical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to succinctly communicate complex issues in written materials; Knowledgeable of regulatory obligations and industry standards in relation to AFC GovernanceKnowledgeable of applicable AFC laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy ActSkills That Will Help You Excel

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $96,000 to $140,850. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
