BSAN 325.01, Project ManagementUndergraduate Spring Semester, 02/03/2025 - 05/25/2025, TTH 9:30AM to 11:50AM. Moraga CampusAccording to the Project Management Institute, the project management-oriented labor force is expected to grow by nearly 22 million new jobs by 2027 in the following sectors: manufacturing and construction, information services and publishing, finance and insurance, management and professional services, utilities, and oil and gas. Graduates with project management skills will be in increasingly high demand. In this course, students learn critical skills for leading cross-functional teams using PM best practices and methodologies and lead a project to completion with the help of industry-standard PM technologies.Engaged Learning component to accompany BSAN 325. Engaged learning, as an important aspect of Lasallian education, provides students opportunities to apply their academic knowledge and skills to serve a community and to learn in partnership with its members. Students are expected to spend 20-30 hours working with the community partner in addition to the related Engaged Learning coursework.
QualificationsPh.D. degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, ORA Master's degree in Business Analytics or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.Successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary:
$6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021.
