Evereve is seeking an experienced Senior Designer in women’s ready-to-wear clothing, specifically Jackets and Bottoms, with the ability to create original, saleable concepts that encompass style, design, color, print and pattern and fabric. They will be passionate about product and ensuring that we bring customer-focused, high-quality apparel designs to life for our customer’s unique needs, preferences and lifestyle. They will work in partnership with our Senior Director of Design, Textile Designer, Design Team, Technical Design, Sourcing and buying group.
The ideal person for this role will have a passion for designing, be a team player with excellent leadership and organizational skills focused on attention to detail and follow-through, have a keen design eye, and strong strategic thinking abilities. They will be a builder, creative thinker and comfortable in a more entrepreneurial environment.
LOCATION:
Headquarters (Edina, MN) - This position is not a remote option.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the Evereve brand, our mission and our Customer’s needs and lifestyle to inform and create relevant products and solutions.
Stay abreast of benchmarks + aspirational competitors, fashion industry/market trends and our floor, along with our Customer needs and preferences to identify recurring patterns and translate inspiration into successful product.
Support the creation of seasonal trend concept in conjunction with the Senior Director of Design (4X/year) inclusive of: theme, colors, print + pattern, silhouette/key items, fabrics and details through research.
Synthesize information and direction to develop a clear design point of view that ensures brand differentiation and style leadership while aligning with the overall design vision and merchant strategy.
Execute product design from concept through all stages of design and production to ensure it delivers on overall design strategy, brand identity, quality expectations, Customer lifestyle, and assortment strategy.
Collaborate with Senior Director of Design, Design, Merchant and Planning teams to ensure product is compatible with quality and pricing goals.
Drive for continuous growth in the development process, including, but not limited to optimizing resource management.
Support Technical Designer initiatives as needed to ensure garment specs, fit and construction meet established Evereve desired fit and specifications.
Participate in bi-weekly fit sessions with live fit model and collaborate with Technical Designers and Buyer throughout fit process to ensure fit is aligned with customer needs, relevant feedback and trend relevance.
This position requires a Designer with strong knowledge of the development process to make decisions that are right for the product, cost effective and meet the brand aesthetic and customer needs.
Requirements:
4-year Degree in Apparel Design.
8+ years of experience in Women’s apparel design, ideally including woven jackets and bottoms, the product development processes, including taking product from concept through execution and partnering with vendors throughout the process.
Technical skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Outlook, Google Suite, Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
Innovation: Displays original thinking and creativity; Meets challenges with resourcefulness; Generates suggestions for improving work; Develops innovative approaches and ideas; Presents ideas and information in a manner that garners respect and gets results.

Experience: Proven expertise and successful sales track record in the apparel category; Demonstrated high taste level and creative ability - including color, pattern, visual merchandising, commercial sense and market knowledge; A strong understanding of garment construction, garment specifications, measurements and experience collaborating with a Technical Designer.
