Our brands are worn and celebrated worldwide by customers, celebrities, and influencers because of our uniquely creative and talented employees.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Photographer will work with a team of other Photographers, Makeup Artists, and Stylists to shoot high volume, on-model product, off-model still-life product, and lifestyle/content. You will shoot across a variety of categories and will dictate studio and location lighting, post-processing, and camera technology necessary to bring amazing quality content to our customers across the brand.RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish your lighting and set esthetic, and photograph assigned products and/or modelsPartner with the Manager, Photography to maintain high quality studio photography lighting for elevated eCommerce product photography and various weekly lifestyle/content photo shootsAbide by designated Fashion Nova brand photographic standard guidesCoordinate with the Manager, Photography on selecting, uploading, retouching to maintain consistent, efficient, high-quality imageDesign creative methods to implement lighting, set design and model poses, both in studio and on location, to produce high quality, elevated imageryEnsure color consistency across all imagesEnsure daily shot counts for all setsWork with the Art Director and Stylists to capture and enhance specific product featuresMaintain advanced knowledge of photography trends in the industry regarding new approaches, technologies, and competitive aspects in the market including both photo and videoROLE REQUIREMENTSFive plus years of experience as a Photographer in a studio environment, ideally in the Fashion eCommerce industryA solid portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertiseProficient in Canon EOS digital cameras or similarAdvanced end user with Apple productsAbility to photograph all categories assignedProficient knowledge of Capture One and PhotoshopSkillful knowledge of fashion, portrait, and eCommerce lightingExpert knowledge of professional digital photography equipment, digital workflow, and terminologyStrong technical troubleshooting skillsFile management, archival skills, and file delivery to workflow standardsAbility to partner with freelance team members to assure consistencyEvolve the established creative aestheticBA degree in Photography or equivalent work experienceEnglish, additional language(s) an advantageWillingness to work at our Vernon, CA HQ studio and offsite locations as neededBENEFITSFormalized career pathsFlat management platformManager Training AcademyCreative Development Internship ProgramFashion Nova Cares ProgramFlexible Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibilityStocked kitchens with gratis snacks and drinksWeekly catered lunchesSummer Fridays at HeadquartersTeam bonding events and programsEmployee discountsFashion Nova, LLC, and subsidiaries thereof, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
