An established CPA firm in Albuquerque, dedicated to providing top-notch accounting, tax, and consulting services to our diverse clientele is seeking to add a Tax Accountant to their team.

Job Overview:

The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, providing tax planning and consulting services, and ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entitiesConduct thorough research on tax issues and provide sound tax planning advice to clientsStay current on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients and team membersAssist in tax audits and respond to tax noticesMaintain accurate and organized tax records and documentationCollaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive financial services to clientsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer serviceQualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA certification preferredMinimum of 3 years of tax accounting experience in a public accounting firmProficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulationsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and professionalismBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Pay Details:

$70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
