The Assistant Business Development Manager (ABDM) plays a vital role in supporting business operations related to shipping, logistics, and rig demonstrations. The role includes warehouse duties, event organization, and customer service. The ABDM will have experience with forklift operation, truck and trailer deliveries, and light mechanical work. The ABDM should also be comfortable working in arduous conditions and during inclement weather, with a willingness to provide after-hours service.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee shipping and trucking deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient operations.Coordinate and assist with rig demonstrations and customer visits.Perform warehouse duties, including inventory management and forklift operation.Operate company-provided truck and trailer for deliveries.Provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries.Perform light mechanical work on equipment as needed.Organize events and demonstrations for potential clients.Adapt to working in various weather conditions and demanding environments.Offer after-hours service for urgent business needs.Communications
Effectively and respectfully communicates with supervisors, coworkers, and customers in verbal and written formats.Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations to an audience of all levels in an organization.Influences and encourages a free flow of information between employees, management, and customers.Effectively teaches technical and nontechnical aspects of drilling services to customers with various levels of experience.Holds ultimate accountability for communications within their work area.Documentation
Completes all required documentation in a coherent, legible, and timely manner.Produce accurate, legible documentation using the format and content prescribed by the company.Maintain properly executed documentation as required for each job by the client and Terra Sonic.Leadership
Takes ownership of customer relationships and constantly leads the company in new directions, applications, and territories.Assists in the development of employees to further their ability to become more proficient in their respective jobs.Provides sound and consistent project and people leadership.Leads by example while adhering to company policies and processes.Safety and Risk Management
Implements the work consistent with applicable regulations, standard industry practices, and in a quality manner.Maintains a safe work environment for all employees, clients, and others at all times.Takes a proactive role in the safety of co-workers and subordinates.QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business administration, sales/finance, or related field; and/orFour to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Draft reports, business correspondence, and proposals.Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.Other Qualifications
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Experience with truck and trailer operations.Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic mechanical aptitude.Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.Sonic Drilling ExperienceInterpret an extensive variety of technical requests for proposals/scope of work documents.
