Shipside Operations Specialist

to join the

F/A-18

Production Operations team in

Berkeley, MO ! This position will work in our fast-paced and dynamic production environment to align the Operations Team with Program Leadership, Customer counterparts and cross-functional partners to remove roadblocks and stabilize operations.

The Production Operations team produce Advanced Fighter Jets for the United States and Allies worldwide through various levels of manufacturing, assembly, and test. Increasing levels of business and the addition of Line Side Support Centers require additional Manufacturing Production Operation Specialist to support all aspects of manufacturing and operations in the unit and subassembly areas of the factory.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues.Use advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization.Utilize tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues.Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.May analyze and interpret data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues.Coordinate and facilitate multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues.Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates.Works under minimal direction.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment.3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projectsExperience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher.Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the militaryExperience interfacing with senior and executive leadershipExperience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT System)Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: USD $86,700 - 117,300
