This position will work in our fast-paced and dynamic production environment to align the Operations Team with Program Leadership, customer counterparts and cross-functional partners to remove roadblocks and stabilize operations. Analyzes and interprets dataProvides feedback on assessment resultsAssist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issuesSupports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issuesFacilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open itemsProvide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammatesShipside Operations Specialist works under general directionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A Final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations environment3+ years of experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting data and managing projectsExperience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvementsExperience with Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePointPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceManufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci) experience.Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the militaryExperience interfacing with senior and executive leadershipExperience using Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)Typical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.
