experienced events/meetings professional

to join it team as

Senior Community Program Manager

for a

Temporary Assignment through to 28 Feb 2025 .

In this role, you will organize and take part in events across New York City as a representative of the organization. Events will include health fairs, educational talks, and other community happenings. You will also manage the organization's volunteers who also take part in the events. Lastly, you will participate in program planning and development, outreach and education, data analysis, and communications support. This key position will increase the visibility of and access to the organization's services and programs.

Hybrid Work with Mixture out of the organizations business offices on Third Avenue near Grand Central. Full-time (37.5-hrs Weekly); Mon-Fri (7.5-hrs Daily); 9am-5pm; and Evenings and Weekends as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ TRAITS/ QUALITIES

Bachelor's Degree

required,

preferably in Community Health, Health Education, Public Health, Communications, Health Administration, or related field.Four to Seven (4-7) years of Experience in Health Education and/or Community Outreach.With Ten Plus (10+) years of Relevant Experience the Education Requirement can be waived.Attention to Detail.Strong Organizational Skills.Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills.Experience using Salesforce and AirTable; and Coupa.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Design ads and flyers to publicize events.In consultation with colleagues, respond in writing to community inquiries and requests.Log and report on community activities using Salesforce and AirTable.Attend community events on behalf of the organization and provide updates on the organization's activities.Develop event and activity descriptions to recruit staff to participate in the events; inform leadership about upcoming events; and report out to the community about the organization's efforts.Process invoices and expenses using Coupa.AREAS OF FOCUS
