Nations Roof is seeking a dynamic

Director of

Business Development – Acquisitions

to join our Team. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and involves close collaboration with the COO, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The DBDA will play a critical role in sourcing and securing strategic acquisitions that align with our company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Evaluation:

Develop and implement objective criteria for evaluating potential acquisitions and business combinations.Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify priority geographies and assess the addressable market for acquisition targets.Target Sourcing:

Identify and engage with potential acquisition targets, building strong relationships with sellers and representing Nations Roof as the preferred buyer.Pipeline Development:

Create and manage a robust deal pipeline that supports the company’s strategic goals.Deal Negotiation:

Lead negotiations on key deal points and oversee diligence activities for each acquisition target.Business Case Creation:

Develop comprehensive business cases and valuation models for potential transactions.Deal Approval:

Prepare and present deal packages for approval by ownership, including coordination of internal and external diligence activities.Transaction Structuring:

Structure and negotiate deals, securing approval from the COO, CEO, and Nations Roof Board to issue Letters of Intent (LOIs).Market Insights:

Monitor economic and competitive trends that may impact the business.Team Collaboration:

Work effectively with the Nations Roof management team to ensure alignment and support throughout the acquisition process.Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience in a services-based industry with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions.Leadership:

High energy and proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Adaptability:

Situational leadership skills with the ability to manage and prioritize in changing circumstances.Team Orientation:

Demonstrated capability to lead a diverse team with a customer-centric approach.Problem-Solving:

Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Communication:

Strong communicator with exceptional people skills and the ability to motivate and influence others.Education & Experience:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in of service industry experience.Degree:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, preferred.Advanced Qualifications:

Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) preferred.Benefits Include:
