Data Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a

Data Specialist

to support a 5-year program supporting a federal agency. This opportunity will upgrade your TS/SCI clearance to a CI Polygraph. The

Data Specialist

will support a team of developers on data integration requirements. This position is

on-site

4

days/week

and remote 1day/week and out of either

Elkridge - Maryland, JBAB DC, or Reston - VA.

Responsibilities for the

Data Specialist

include:

Write and maintain low-code Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) platform to assist with data transfers and transformations.Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect data, add features to the ETL platform, integrate software into the system, and validate data ingests.Support high volume data transfers, provide documentation of system architecture, development, and enhancements.Assist with data warehouse and data lakes, and engineering work.Required Qualifications for the

Data Specialist

include:

8 years of experience with data engineering/governanceExperience with Linux, programming languages (Python, PHP, C#, Java), and the cloud preferredActive TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to sit for a CI PolyBachelor's DegreePreferred Qualifications for the

Data Specialist

include:

Experience with ETL Data ingestion, integration, or transformationExperience with Ruby or PythonExperience with cloud integration

Compensation for the

Data Specialist

include:• Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 depending on experience• Full Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k, 100% Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Vision
