Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
QA Analyst
to join our IT Services department. The QA Analyst will be responsible for validating requirements are met, ensuring defect-free software, facilitating acceptance testing, and setting up automated regression tests for multiple exciting PDRI development projects.
This position remote based out of Chantilly, VA.
Must be a U.S citizen - will need to obtain a public trust
The QA Analyst will work closely with the development team to identify and remedy system and software defects. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for details who can work resourcefully and efficiently to assure quality of programs, software and systems.
Responsibilities:
§ Ensure quality in all custom developed software.
§ Define and prioritize all aspects of testing throughout the development cycle.
§ Create, review and prioritize test plans based on product specifications, developer releases and organizational feedback.
§ Ensure integrity, validity, and testability of all product specifications.
§ Write and execute test plans as well as document test plan results.
§ Configure automated regression tests.
§ Identify defects and problems as assigned.
§ Must be able to work in a team and individually, demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, learn quickly, solve problems and be professional.
§ Work with various business units to ensure testing matches our users' needs.
§ Learn and apply new technologies on a regular basis
Requirements:
§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
§ Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
§ 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance
§ 3-5 years of experience writing and executing test plans
§ 3-5 years of experience documenting test results, filling out defect reports, and working with development teams to resolve defects
