Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and interaction of existing and new customers. The Account Manager will be responsible for all facets of managing the accounts they will be responsible for from an order to cash basis, including, but not limited to, project management, new product development, quote & opportunity development, and assisting the Business Development Managers and Territory Sales Managers to generate sales.

You will do this by:Owning the order-to-cash process for existing top tier accountsInteracting with purchasing managers, supply managers, customer services representatives and in some cases, owners of the companies you will be responsible forResearching and learning your customer base to probe for new opportunities within your assigned accounts as you learn these customers and the capabilities of Fisher BartonReceiving RFQ’s from existing customers, in line with the current products these customers are buying.Essential Functions:

Lead, develop and implement a growth and profit enhancement strategy within assigned existing accounts to ensure maintenance and growth of current business.Conduct quarterly business reviews to analyze customer needs, provide insights, and ensure customer satisfaction.Develop new business to ensure a healthy sales funnel of business over an 18–36-month period.Manage sales pipeline for consistent flow of sales opportunities.Develop an intimate understanding of our customers businesses and identify how ONE Fisher Barton products and capabilities can meet and satisfy their needs.Identify and develop new product opportunities based on customer needs and feedback.Identify and target specific end users on assigned market and customer base to meet and exceed assigned sales budget.When applicable, partner with Business Development Manager.Participate as a member of the Customer Focused Work Team(s) and report progress to the Executive leadership team.Participate in Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process by collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing accurate demand forecasting on a part level by customer.Participate in tradeshows and customer sponsored events as needed.Travel to customer locations as needed.Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.Strong attention to detail and strong analytical and organizational skills required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team by sharing information and supporting company procedures, policies and processes.Collaborative problem solver: ability to quickly assess customer’s needs and work with internal departments.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to effectively deal with change and the unknown; adaptable and flexible.Proficient in windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.2-4 years Account Management experience.Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.Location:
