CDL Shuttle Driver FT 12pm-8pm Year Round!

DRIVER- Shuttle Drivers are needed for FT work in Albany.
Current open hours are 12pm-8pm M-F - other hours may also be posted separately. This is a full time, year round position - if it's time for a change, take a good look!
Shuttle drivers earn $21/hour to start. We have a tier system for you to move up in pay, and also offer OT when available.
VPA offers weekly payroll - get a check, direct deposit, or a pay card each week!
Full-time help is eligible for Health/Dental insurance available after 90 days (50/50 split), and paid vacation after one year. Room for advancement!
Must be over 20, customer service experience is a must!
A valid NY Class C or higher CDL with passenger endorsement is required. We do not have the ability to train you for this, you must already possess your CDL.
A valid medical card is also required. Background checks and driving test will be conducted.
Shuttle Driver- Job Description
The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we canSafely shuttling customers to various destinationsOpening and closing doors for patronsAdhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttlesCommunicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendantsCompleting required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirementsRecording passenger counts and trip timesCompleting necessary paperwork involved in daily operationsAssisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.)Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanlinessCommunicating mechanical problems with shuttles to managementComplying with company procedures for shuttle operations
