We are seeking CDL shuttle drivers for work in the Springfield, MA area.

We are seeking a FT member of our transportation team to work as a driver. The shuttles are stored in Springfield at our main office.

Hours will vary week to week, but FT is available with some flexibility. Routes will include bringing college teams to their games, college classes to on-location trips, airport runs, delivering shuttles to other regions that we operate in, and much more. You will not find yourself bored with this position.

The ideal applicant will likely work 4 weekdays (hours will vary), and a weekend charter shift for a wedding, concert, etc.

Base pay will be $22/hour for all hours. Gratuities are earned on most charter jobs, with the ability to earn up to $40/hour between your base rate and tips.

The vehicles are late model walk-on 14 and 24-passenger shuttles that are cleaned and maintained regularly. We have been in business for nearly 35 years in Western MA, and have over 100 shuttle vehicles on the road across New England, New York, and Florida. Come join our growing team in a fun environment!

We provide charter services for weddings, group trips, concerts, and sporting events, as well as college sports teams and classes.

Must be over 20 (due to our insurance), customer service experience is a must!

A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required. A valid medical card is also required. Background checks and driving test will be conducted. Results are subject to approval by management.

Shuttle Driver- Job Description

The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we canSafely shuttling customers to various destinationsOpening and closing doors for patronsAdhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttlesCommunicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendantsCompleting required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirementsRecording passenger counts and trip timesCompleting necessary paperwork involved in daily operationsAssisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones etc.)Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanlinessCommunicating mechanical problems with shuttles to managementComplying with company procedures for shuttle operations
