If you possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work closely with Executive Producers and Producers to determine content needs.Assist in the development of content for multiple platforms in AP and broadcast style.Execute time-sensitive decisions.Write clearly for multiple platforms.Edit video for multiple platforms.Post content to station's websites.Perform additional duties as assigned.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:BS/BA in related discipline preferred, or equivalent years of experience.No prior experience required.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Strong verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, storytelling abilities, and news judgment.Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in computer-based editing, Final Cut Pro and basic computer skills including MS Office.Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under deadlines.Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws.Flexible work hours may be required, including overnights, holidays, weekends and evenings.
