Senior Designer

who shares our passion for classic aesthetics, with the ability to bring sophisticated design visions to life. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Interior Design, 5+ years of experience in high-end residential projects, and practical experience working directly with contractors and trades, especially in remodeling and new builds. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Designer, managing custom build projects, overseeing large-scale renovations, and curating full-home furnishings from concept through installation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of smaller projects independently, ensuring each design aligns with our firm's design standards.Responsibilities• Work with the Principal on various tasks for large, long-term residential and new construction/remodel projects for high-end clientele, from concept through installation.• Maintain regular communication with the Principal, vendors, and clients regarding project timelines.• Assist with design presentations and boards to clients via Canva, creating the design concept and selections by room.• Create proposals and invoices based on design selections and fabrication needs and incorporate them into client proposals for the Principal's review.• Manage client communication from start to finish.• Liaise with contractor communication throughout the planning and construction phases.• Support the Design Team in preparing and maintaining interior design documents, such as finish schedules, specifications, templates, and shop drawings. Keep all documents organized and readily available.• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.• Conduct site visits to inspect delivered design products, ensuring they meet project specifications and maintain the integrity of the design.• Represent the firm at networking events, building and maintaining relationships with vendors, trades, and industry professionals to expand our client base and reinforce our presence within the design community.• Manage projects independently as needed. If smaller projects are signed, this role will have the opportunity to manage the client and project independently.Experience• Degree in Interior Design.• 5+ years industry experience.• 3+ years of practical experience working with contractors and trades in remodels and new builds and working directly with a lead designer or running projects independently.• Strong foundation in construction principles. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of cabinetry principles and hands-on work in Kitchen and Bath design.

Strong foundation in furnishing selections, presentations, and proposals for clients.

( Samples of work product will be requested and reviewed during the interview process).• Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Canva, Google Docs and sheets, Dropbox, Asana.• Studio Designer proficiency is a MUST.• Revit, CAD, Chief Architect experience is preferred.• Must be energetic, proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized and eager to grow and learn.
