About the role:

As a Content Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the content production workflow for digital marketing, using tools such as Aprimo Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Responsibilities:

Understand internal content creation and approval processes and implement improvements and refinements to create efficiency and quality improvement.

Collaborate cross-functionally with content partners across the organization and externally, including editors, designers, researchers, analysts, web developers, SEO, and project managers, to align the content with the objectives and expectations of the target audience.

Analyze and improve the overall content creation, editing, and approval process, working with business units to gain understanding and gather consensus.

Facilitate and refine the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) review process.

Understand and apply the global taxonomy, ensuring that digital content is enabled in upstream (DAM) and downstream systems (web, email, etc.) enabling modular content and personalization. Serve as taxonomy SME to help businesses apply taxonomy.

Create and maintain documentation on relevant processes to ensure stakeholder understanding and implementation.

Ensure that all content-related systems work together harmoniously and efficiently, including Aprimo (DAM) integration.

Serve as MLR Quality Steward by representing marketing in audits, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) projects, running Community of Practice meetings, and working with the Quality team on a variety of initiatives.

Plan and assign tasks, review and approve content, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

At least five years of experience in managing content production, preferably in healthcare or another regulated industry.

Understanding of taxonomy principles and implementation.

Project management experience.

Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to correct and implement quality issues and guidelines.

Self-motivated, organized, and deadline-oriented.

Team player, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and quality.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management/taxonomy systems such as PoolParty, Aprimo and Adobe Experience Manager.
