ORAssociate degree plus six years of experience in a mental health field

ORBachelor’s degree in a Mental Health Field plus four years of experience in a mental health field

ORMaster’s degree in a Mental Health Field plus two years of experience in a mental health fieldCertification as a Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (can be obtained post-hire)Valid California Driver's License and automobile insuranceHow you will make a difference (job overview):This position has primary responsibility for providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the clients through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction. Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, or designee, in most cases, but some tasks are accomplished independently.Division/Program Overview:24/7 voluntary residential setting specifically for Transitional Age Youth (TAY) at risk and need a higher level of care, but lower than a psychiatric hospitalFacility equipped to serve up to 15 YouthProvides mental health services that include individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and case managementIncorporates the tenets of recovery, peer support, and identifying community connectionsConnects individuals to educational and vocational services and initiating the process of locating housingLearn more about SBHG at:
