What you bring to SBHG:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Experience with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is preferred.
Two (2) years of general office experience. Current or previous experience as a consumer of mental health services or as a family member/caregiver of a former or current mental health consumer.
Fluency in a second language preferred.
Valid California Drivers License
Under direct supervision, the Office Assistant performs a variety of secretarial and clerical tasks for the Program Coordinator and Program Director, record keeping, sorting and light typing. In addition, acts as a receptionist for the program while greeting visitors. Handling extensive personal and confidential information is an essential job function of this position.
Division/Program Overview:Oasis Vocational Center provides vocational rehabilitation services to prepare and keep people employed.
Working in conjunction with mental health service providers and the Department of Rehabilitation to assist clients in reaching their employment and career goals through:
Job coaching and training opportunities
Job development with employers
Identifying job opportunities and job placement based on client interest
Provide ongoing Job Support
