Graphic DesignerOur client is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their dynamic Brand & Creative team. This team of nine professionals manages design, writing, strategy, production, video, and more for corporate assets both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing materials that help partners communicate complex concepts through simple, effective visuals.This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.Graphic Designer ResponsibilitiesManage projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality work with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.Create a full range of assignments, including company reports, infographics, presentations, 1-page explainers, and internal templates, while maintaining consistent brand standards.Work closely with clients, communications teams, project managers, producers, and other creatives to assess project requirements, objectives, and creative direction.Absorb complex topics and translate them into incisive, simple visual representations that effectively tell compelling stories.Liaise with graphic designers, art directors, copywriters, photographers, and printers on various projects.Stay abreast of the latest creative trends and incorporate them into design work.Develop and maintain systems for file naming, organization, and archiving to ensure efficient workflow.Graphic Designer QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; 3-6 years of professional graphic design experience required.Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint).Working knowledge of Figma or Adobe XD.Ability to absorb and simplify complex topics into effective visual communications.Intermediate knowledge of user interface design and digital graphics.Advanced understanding of print and digital production and archiving best practices.Intermediate skills in project management, organization, and prioritization.Self-starter who is comfortable asking questions to achieve complete understanding.Comfortable with ambiguity and possesses sound judgment on when to seek clarification.Intermediate analytical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Preferred:Experience with Creatopy, Ceros, and Canva.Proficient in Spanish is preferred.Compensation: $42-$52/hr.
