Basic Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this Position:General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate need for an Information Assurance Professional in our Dedham, Mass location.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesStrong understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelinesStrong knowledge of cyber security technology and trendsContributes to the achievement of business objectivesRecognizes and incorporates various security designs and lessons learnedStrong written and verbal communications skillsAble to sell concepts and ideasEffective in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions as they affect the cyber design and implementationStrong ability in reporting relevant cyber systems engineering designRegular contact with senior levels of security work groupsAbility to lead security work groupsWorks under limited directionContact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teamsFrequent contact with the external customers security professionalsStrong understanding and ability to apply basic project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process ControlsCreative thinker, good multi-taskerStrong understanding of Microsoft Office applicationsSalary Note:This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Combined Salary Range:USD $135,774.80 - USD $150,625.20 /Yr.
