Responsibilities

Lead marketing vision, strategy, and team execution to support overall corporate goals, build brand awareness, and generate market demand

Build, manage and coach a high-performing marketing team including but not limited to performance management, workplan/goal setting, career development, hiring/firing, etc.

Work and proactively collaborate with Summit 7 Executive Stakeholders, Departments, and Industry Experts to create and manage the development of marketing and sales messaging, collateral, and events to promote Value Propositions to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)

Lead communication and messaging across multiple communication channels such as trade shows, marketing collateral, and electronic media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube etc.

Work closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies, create sales collateral, and support customer retention

Create and present marketing schedules, resources, and KPIs to CEO/senior staff

Build relationships with industry stakeholders, media, and partner companies

Drive engagement across all platforms (Web, Social, Etc.) using SEO best practices and regularly measure/present results

Develop content strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals

Create content and manage content creation process for a variety of platforms including blogs, videos, articles, landing pages, websites, infographics, and social media

Join online platforms and social media groups for discussing industry trending topics

Lead and manage Marketing Team using excellent interpersonal/communicative skills, modeling positive leadership and team cohesiveness

Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of industry data

Lead and manage sales enablement and creation and deliverables of collateral to sales and GTM teams

Support corporate events and joint marketing events with partners as necessary

Manage, assess & evolve strategy for lead generation and conversion of leads and SDR team

Management of the Summit 7 Speaker Program

Create, edit, and proofread written and visual content before publishing

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

BS degree in relevant field such as Marketing or Communications

Work experience in a senior role such as Marketing Director or similar

Proven leadership experience creating marketing vision and planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy

High-level understanding of Office 365 Platforms (Commercial, GCC, GCC High) and Azure Platforms (Commercial and Government), and how the licensing, features, and capabilities map to Defense Industrial Base (DIB) cybersecurity regulations (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR)

Knowledge and proficiency in Google AdWords, SEO, and web analytics

Experience creating content for Microsoft Cloud Platforms or equivalent

Entrepreneurial attitude and capacity to work well in a rapidly changing environment

Experience in building brand awareness and recognition; effective public speaker

Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, written content, and project management skills

Experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print

Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives and value propositions

Experience working cross-functionally to ensure marketing programs are in line with company objectives and department goals

Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices

Highly skilled with leading teams of operational and creative talent

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Experience creating marketing/advertising campaigns from developing vision and the message platform to overseeing production on time and budget

S. Citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check

Travel; estimated up to 20% for those in greater Huntsville, AL area, 50% for other locations
